I am happy to work with clients directly on commissioned based work to create something particularly unique and perfect for their space. Below is some of the information on what to expect throughout the commission process and agreement. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Contract
All commissions are done under contract. This way there is a clear understanding on what to expect during the painting process, the rights to the artwork after it’s created, as well as an agreement to a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Price
There is a 25% premium to the standard market value for commissioned works. The price is set before the art making begins. Client is also responsible for any shipping or framing costs.
Timeline
After the contract is signed and the artist has received necessary materials for the commissioned work, the artist will present a compositional preview of the work before it is started for client approval. A two week minimum is required for the painting process.
Wrapping Up
After artwork completion, client and artist will agree on the best mode for delivery and client will be expected to pay remaining balance. Artist will reserve the right to use visual reproduction of the work for marketing purposes.
